Catherine Hein Los Osos: 67-Year-Old Catherine Zwart Hein Died In Car Accident With Parked Utility Truck On South Bay Boulevard
LOS OSOS, CALIFORNIA (April 14, 2019) – A 67-year-old woman identified as Catherine Zwart Hein has tragically died in a car accident on South Bay Boulevard after hitting a parked utility truck.
California Highway Patrol are saying that the accident took place around 9:00 a.m. For reasons that remain under investigation, Catherine Zwart Hein’s vehicle left the roadway and onto a dirt shoulder.
Her Volkswagen collided with a parked utility truck not far away from a construction site. Paramedics rushed to the scene and transported the victim the hospital with major injuries.
Despite life-saving efforts Catherine Zwart Hein later died at the hospital. There is an ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident.
