Liability In Pedestrian Accidents
Around 5,000 pedestrians are killed every year in car accidents across the United States. Nearly half of all of those accidents involved drivers that were under the influence of drugs or alcohol. This is deeply unfortunate. There is never a good reason to drink and drive. Even in the absence of alcohol a number of drivers often act negligently by speeding or being distracted by their cell phone. A person that is injured due to the negligence of another driver will have the ability to file a bodily injury claim.
