15-Year-Old Boy Injured In Hoopa Pedestrian Car Accident By Marshall Lane and Big Hill Road
HOOPA, CALIFORNIA (June 8, 2019) – A 15-year-old boy has been injured in a pedestrian accident by the intersection of Marshall Lane near Big Hill Road.
California Highway Patrol are saying that the accident took place around 10:00 p.m. Police are saying that the boy was walking along the shoulder of the road when he was hit by a sedan making an unsafe turn.
Firefighters and paramedics rushed to the scene of the accident in order to help the victim. He was transported to the Mad River Hospital in order to be treated for his injuries.
An investigation into the cause of the accident remains ongoing at this point.
