Driver Injured In Car Accident After Being Hit By Gold Line Train In Highland Park
HIGHLAND PARK, CALIFORNIA (November 17, 2018) One person was injured in a train accident after their car was hit by Avenue 61 and Figueroa Street.
The identity of the elderly driver that was hit by the train remains unknown at this time. Los Angeles Fire Department officials arrived at the scene of the accident and transported her to the hospital.
There were 120 people onboard the Gold Line Train at the time of the collision. Train operators were able to get the train moving again at around 10:36. a.m.
There is an active investigation into what caused the train accident.
