Liability In Motorcycle Accidents
When a state employee is injured in a car accident they will likely be able to recover damages through a worker’s compensation claim. According to the California Department of Industrial Relations Workers Compensation Guidebook, “If you get hurt on the job, your employer is required by law to pay for workers’ compensation benefits.” What many worker’s don’t realize is that the worker’s compensation system is not their only recourse.
An injured worker may also be able to receive damages by filing a claim against a negligent driver that caused an accident.
