66-Year-Old Woman Suffers Leg Amputation In Garden Grove DUI Car Accident By Larson Avenue
GARDEN GROVE, CALIFORNIA (June 21, 2019) – A 66-year-old woman was seriously injured in a DUI car accident on Larson Avenue.
The unidentified woman was standing next to the left rear of her vehicle around 5:30 p.m. The driver of a red Toyota Corolla was going east and pinned the woman between his car and her car.
The victim was seriously injured and taken to the UCI Medical Center. She suffered from internal bleeding and had to have both of her legs amputated.
The driver of the vehicle that hit her was arrested on suspicion of felony DUI. Police are asking anyone that may have witnessed the crash to call the Garden Grove Police Department.
