Liability In Plane Crashes
The vast majority of plane crashes take place in private aviation. Within private aviation, the vast majority of accidents occur during take-off and landing. A pilot may overshoot the runway or run into electrical wires. But a good number of crashes take place due to mechanical defects with a plane itself. When planes lose power, it can put the pilot and any passengers in dire straights.
The manufactures of planes could be liable if they malfunction and injure or kill someone. Any person that is injured in a plane crash may have the ability to pursue damages through a bodily injury claim. A personal injury attorney can investigate all of the facts of your case and let you know what your options are. Damages may include money for lost wages, medical bills and pain and suffering.
