Liability In Pedestrian Accidents
A good number of accidents occur at intersections. Police can therefore use traffic cameras to determine liability. In the absence of video footage of the accident, other factors can be used to determine liability. For example, tire marks in the roadway and the nature of a person’s injuries can be used to help paint a picture of what happened. A number of pedestrian accidents occur when drivers are simply not paying attention. Victims of pedestrian accidents will typically be able to get compensation by filing a personal injury claim.
