One Person Killed And Two Injured In Car Accident By The Intersection of Folsom-Auburn Road and Hillswood Drive
FOLSOM, CALIFORNIA (June 9, 2019) – One person was killed and two other people were seriously injured in a car accident by the intersection of Folsom-Auburn Road and Hillswood Drive.
California Highway Patrol are saying that the accident took place as a BMW driver was making a left turn and was struck by a ford. The car accident took place around 10:45 a.m.
A passenger inside the BMW has tragically died. The driver of the Ford was also injured. A full investigation into the accident remains ongoing at this time.

According to California Vehicle Code 21801, “The driver of a vehicle intending to turn to the left or to complete a U-turn upon a highway, or to turn left into public or private property, or an alley, shall yield the right-of-way to all vehicles approaching from the opposite direction which are close enough to constitute a hazard at any time during the turning movement.” The family of any person that is killed in a car accident due to the negligence of any driver may have legal recourse through California Code of Civil Procedure 377.60.
