According to the San Diego Tribune, three people were injured after a driver made a last-minute lane change and crashed into a guardrail and another vehicle near La Mesa on Sunday, July 22, 2018.
The car accident occurred on Route 125 around 1:45 p.m., when the driver of a Camaro was attempting to cut across several lanes on the freeway, while trying to exit.
Consequently, the Camaro driver slammed into a guardrail, overturned, and hit a Ford Fiesta, which had two adults and two children inside at the time of the car accident.
The driver of the Camaro, who has not been identified, sustained serious injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital.
The driver and passengers of the Fiesta sustained injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital. Their conditions remain unknown.
