Pedestrian Injured In Fisher Hit-And-Run Car Accident On Hiller Road

FISHER, CALIFORNIA (October 15, 2019) – A pedestrian was seriously injured in a hit-and-run car accident on Hiller Road 

California Highway Patrol are saying that the accident took place around 3:12 p.m. The woman was hit by a dark colored vehicle.

The driver that hit the victim did not stop after the accident and is currently being pursued by police. An investigation into the accident remains ongoing at this time.

It is a felony to flee the scene of a car accident that results in bodily injury. According to California Vehicle Code 20001, “The driver of a vehicle involved in an accident resulting in injury to a person, other than himself or herself, or in the death of a person shall immediately stop the vehicle at the scene of the accident and shall fulfill the requirements of Sections 20003 and 20004.” Any person that is injured in a pedestrian accident may have legal recourse through a bodily injury claim.
