According to ABC 7 News, there was an accident involving a big rig and at least six other vehicles. It is reported that at around 11 am this morning, April 25, the 5 freeway near the Los Feliz Boulevard exit was completely shut down because of a multivehicle collision. Several vehicles were engulfed in flames. Nine people were reportedly injured, and one victim tragically died. At the scene of the accident, a tanker straddled both sides of the 5 freeway with two vehicles being pinned underneath, one on the north bound side of the freeway and one on the south bound side of the freeway.
