Liability In Head-On Collisions
Head-on collisions account for only around 2% of all accidents but nearly 11% of all traffic fatalities. According to California Vehicle Code 21460, “If double parallel solid yellow lines are in place, a person driving a vehicle shall not drive to the left of the lines, except as permitted in this section.” The family of any victim that died in a head-on collision may have legal recourse through a wrongful death claim. Damages in a claim can help cover lost wages, funeral expenses and pain and suffering.
