Liability In Rollover Accidents
Rollover accidents can be extremely dangerous. SUVs are typically much more likely to rollover than other vehicles. There may be multiple sources of liability for a rollover crash. If the roof caves in this may be indicative of a design defect with the car. There are federal guidelines with respect to how far a roof can collapse while remaining safe. The driver of a commercial vehicle like a truck may face liability if they were negligent or speeding.
Rollover accidents can leave victims with serious injuries including broken bones, spinal cord injuries and traumatic brain injuries. Any victims may be able to recover damages through a bodily injury claim. A car accident attorney can investigate your claim free of charge and let you know what your options are.
