Teenager Injured In Clairemont Bicycle Accident By The Interstate 805 Freeway Offramp and Clairemont Mesa Boulevard
CLAIREMONT, CALIFORNIA (July 15, 2019) – A teenager sustained serious injuries after being hit by a vehicle near the Interstate 805 freeway off-ramp and Clairemont Mesa Boulevard.
California Highway Patrol are saying that the teen was hit by a jeep that was leaving the freeway. Firefighters and paramedics rushed to the scene of the collision in order to help the victim.
The bicyclist sustained major injuries and had to be transported to the Sharp Memorial Hospital. An investigation into the cause of the accident remains ongoing at this time.
