Kelly Cass Citrus Heights: A 27-year-old Skateboarder Identified As Kelly Cass Was Seriously Injured In An Accident With A Drunk Driver By Auburn Boulevard near Charwood Lane
CITRUS HEIGHTS, CALIFORNIA (January 4, 2018) – A 27-year-old woman identified as Kelly Cass was injured in a car accident after she was hit by a drunk driver while riding her skateboard in Citrus Heights.
The car accident was so violent that it sent Kelly Cass through the windshield of the vehicle. The driver didn’t stop even though the victim was badly injured.
The driver eventually stopped his vehicle and fled on foot, but police were able to catch him. The suspect that hit Kelly Cass was charged with felony DUI, hit-and-run, kidnapping and violating parole.
