According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, three vehicles were involved in a chain-reaction crash near Grossmont College in El Cajon on Monday, September 18, 2017.

The crash occurred on Route 125 around 9 a.m. when a woman in a 2015 Hyundai did not notice a car that was stopped in front of her at the Grossmont College Drive exit. The driver of the Hyundai was not able to stop in time and slammed into the back of a Toyota Camry.

The Toyota was pushed into the path of a Chevy Impala.

The driver of the Chevy sustained moderate injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital.

The driver of tHe Toyota had to be extricated from her vehicle by firefighters and sustained moderate injuries.

The driver of the Hyundai was not hurt.
