Pilot Killed In Helicopter Crash On Catalina Island
CATALINA ISLAND, CALIFORNIA (June 20, 2019) – One Person was killed in a helicopter crash on the northwest end of Catalina Island.
The pilot was the only know person on-board the helicopter at the time of the crash. Coast Guard were dispatched to the sight of the wreckage and recovered the body of the pilot.
Their identity remains unknown at this time. The FAA is continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
