15-Year-Old Boy Critically Injured In Bicycle Accident On Fair Oaks Boulevard In Carmichael
CARMICHAEL, CALIFORNIA (April 30, 2019) – A 15-year-old boy was critically injured in a car accident on Fair Oaks Boulevard.
California Highway patrol are saying that the accident took place as the bicyclist was traveling eastbound on Fair Oaks Boulevard. The car was heading northbound and allegedly ran a red light before hitting the victim.
The cyclist was in a marked crosswalk at the time of the accident. Witnesses are saying that the teen was thrown onto the windshield of the vehicle and critically injured.
An investigation into the accident remains ongoing.
