According to the OC Register, a 14-year-old boy was hit and sustained serious injuries after a car vs. pedestrian accident outside of San Juan Hills High School in San Juan Capistrano on Tuesday, November 28, 2017.
The car vs. pedestrian accident happened around 7:30 a.m. while the boy was crossing at a crosswalk.
The victim sustained critical injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
According to many residents, there is no speed bumps, street light or a crossing guard at the crosswalk, which would certainly reduce the risk of another car accident in the future.
Our team at West Coast Trial Lawyers wishes the victim a speedy recovery during this difficult time.
Road safety, speeding, and several other factors can play a major role in pedestrian car accidents. Unfortunately, car accidents can result in serious repercussions.
