David Fricker Brooklyn: 49-Year-Old Worker David Fricker Seriously Injured In Accident After Falling From Cellino & Barnes Billboard Sign Located At The Corner Of Flatbush Avenue and Church Avenue In Brooklyn
BROOKLYN, NEW YORK (May 15, 2019) – A 49-year-old billboard worker identified as David Fricker was injured after he accidentally fell from a Cellino & Barnes sign located at the corner of Flatbush Avenue and Church Avenue.
New York police are saying that the accident took place around 10:28 a.m. when David Fricker fell ten feet from the sign onto a rooftop below. Firefighters and paramedics rushed to the scene in order to help the injured worker.
David Fricker was rushed to the Kings County Hospital in order to receive treatment for a spinal cord injury and concussion. According to reports, the victim worked for Lamar Advertising.
James Sanabria, 36, told the New York Post that his family wants answers. David Fricker was apparently wearing a harness at the time of the accident.
But the cause of the fall remains unknown at this time. A full investigation by OSHA remains ongoing.
