One Person Killed In Brentwood Car Accident On Balfour Road Near American Avenue
BRENTWOOD, CALIFORNIA (August 29, 2019) – One person was killed in a car accident on Balfour Road not far from American Avenue.
California Highway Patrol are saying that the accident first took place around 8:50 a.m. A Nissan Altima was headed east when it was trying to pass a Mini Cooper.
The Nissan crossed over a double yellow line and collided head-on with a white minivan. Paramedics rushed to the scene in order to help all of the victims. Despite lifesaving measures, one person was pronounced dead.
Another person had to be transported to the hospital. An investigation remains ongoing at this time.
