Liability In Carbon Monoxide Accidents

Carbon monoxide is a colorless and odorless gas that can be lethal when there are more than 300 parts per million in an enclose space. 200 parts per million is more than enough to make someone extremely sick. Leaks can happen for a variety of different reasons. A water heater or other appliance may malfunction and leak the gas.

Victims may be able to recover damages by filing a claim against the company that manufactured a device that leaked carbon monoxide. These types of cases can be extremely complex. They are best examined by an experienced premises liability attorney.
