Pedestrian Critically Injured In Bakersfield DUI Car Accident On Pacheco Road
BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA (June 27, 2019) – One person was critically injured in a car accident with an intoxicated driver on Pacheco Road.
California Highway Patrol are saying that the accident took place just before midnight on Sunday. A male pedestrian was critically injured after he was hit by a vehicle as he was trying to cross the road.
An ambulance was called to the scene in order to help the pedestrian. He was taken to the hospital and remains in critical condition.
The driver involved in the crash was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

According to California Vehicle Code 23152, “(a) It is unlawful for a person who is under the influence of any alcoholic beverage to drive a vehicle.
