Multiple People Injured In Bakersfield Rollover Car Accident On Interstate 5 Freeway By Copus Road
BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA (July 14, 2019) – Multiple people were injured in a rollover car accident on the interstate 5 freeway not far from Copus Road.
California Highway Patrol are saying that the accident took place around 7:52 a.m. and involved a pickup truck as well as another vehicle. The force of the impact sent one vehicle down a 75 foot embankment and caused it to roll several times.
Two women inside the vehicle were trapped and had to be extricated. Both were transported to the hospital and one of them sustained a head injury.
An investigation into the car accident remains ongoing at this time.
