Liability In Dump Truck Accidents
Nearly 94% of all accidents are caused by driver error. But in a number of circumstances factors beyond the control of a driver can contribute to a crash. Dump trucks are equipped with a hydraulic lifting mechanism that is used to remove loads. For the safety of the driver and everyone else on the road, a dump truck’s back should always be down while the truck is in motion.
If the hydraulic arm malfunctions or if someone forgets to put the back of a dump trump down this could cause an accident. A victim may have the ability to file a personal injury claim in order to recover damages. A truck accident attorney can examine the specific facts of your case and let you know if you have a claim that can be pursued.
