Bicyclist Killed In Bakersfield Car Accident By Gosford Road and White Lane
BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA (June 9, 2019) – A bicyclist was tragically killed in a car accident by the intersection of Gosford Road and White Lane.
California Highway Patrol are saying that the motorcyclist was hit by a pickup truck in the fast lane of the freeway. The accident took place around 12:30 p.m.
Paramedics rushed to the scene in order to help the bicyclist who was laying in the middle of the roadway. Despite life-saving measures he was later pronounced dead due to his injuries.
An investigation into the cause of the accident remains ongoing at this time.
