According to NBC, four people were injured in a crash involving an Uber, when the driver of a SUV lost control, hit two vehicles, and crashed into a boutique in Inglewood on Saturday, July 28, 2018.
According to authorities, one of the vehicles involved in the car accident had an Uber sticker. But it is not clear if the vehicle had any passengers at the time of the incident.
Authorities reported that the store owner’s daughter was struck by the SUV, when it came crashing into the store. As a result, she was pushed to the back of the store and was pinned underneath the vehicle.
The victim sustained injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital. The victim’s condition remains unknown.
Three other victims in the store were also injured. But their conditions remain unknown.
According to authorities, the driver of the SUV claimed that he was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol during the time of the Uber accident. Toxicology reports are still pending.
