2 injured in Eastvale car accident caused by DUI driver

According to the Press Enterprise, two people were critically injured in a car accident caused by a DUI driver in Eastvale on Monday, June 4, 2018.

The DUI car accident occurred at 4:53 p.m., when 19-year-old Grace Whitman, who was driving a gray Subaru, ran a red light. As a result, the Subaru collided with a black Toyota sedan, injuring the driver and a passenger.

The driver and the passenger of the Toyota sustained critical injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital. Authorities described the two victims’ injuries as major to life-threatening.

The suspected DUI driver, Whitman, was not injured in the car accident.

According to the authorities, Whitman was arrested on suspicion of DUIl and causing injury.
