According to ABC 7, thirteen people were injured after a bus accident on the 10 Freeway in East Los Angeles on Thursday, March 22, 2018.
The bus accident occurred around 10:30 a.m., when a Greyhound intercity bus rear-ended a Foothill Transit commuter bus on the eastbound 10 Freeway near the Soto Street exit.
According to authorities, another vehicle—a pickup truck—rolled down an embankment on the side of the freeway and caused the chain-reaction bus accident.
As a result, 40 people were assessed for injuries after the bus accident.
It was determined that 13 people sustained injuries and were all transported to a local hospital.
The extent of their injuries was not clear.
The bus accident remains under investigation.
