According to the OC Register, a collision between a big-rig and pickup truck left one driver with serious injuries in Buena Park on Monday, October 23, 2017.
The crash occurred around 11:10 a.m. at 6340 Artesia Blvd.
The pickup truck driver, whose name has not been released, sustained serious injuries and was taken to UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange.
The pickup driver was classified as a “trauma patient” due to the severity of the crash.
According to officials, firefighters had to cut the victim out of his vehicle with the Jaws of Life.
Artesia Boulevard between Valley View Street and Knott Avenue were closed while workers had to remove large pieces of debris.
Details on what caused the crash were not immediately available.
