According to KTLA, a bicyclist was killed in an apparent road rage incident resulting in a bicycle accident in San Bernardino on Monday, June 4, 2018.
The fatal bicycle accident occurred around 7 p.m., when the driver of a 2003 Infinity and 2000 BMW were involved in a road-rage altercation while heading eastbound on West Fifth Street.
According to the report, the Infinity, driven by 32-year-old Rosendo Ortiz and the BMW, driver by 28-year-old Karina Saucedo, were both speeding through an intersection. As a result, Ortiz fatally struck a bicyclist at the intersection of Fifth Street and Ramona Avenue.
The bicyclist, who has not been identified due to pending family notification, was pronounced dead at the scene of the bicycle accident.
Both drivers, Ortiz and Suacedo, remained at the scene of the fatal bicycle accident and cooperated with the police.
No arrests have been made and the fatal bicycle accident remains under investigation.
