BICYCLIST STRUCK AND KILLED ON PCH

According to the Daily News, a bicyclist was killed in a collision involving another vehicle on Sunday, October 15, 2017 in Santa Monica.

The crash occurred around 7 p.m. at the 200 block of Pacific Coast Highway. The vehicle and bicyclist were traveling northbound on PCH, when the bicyclist was struck from behind.

The bicyclist, said to be a man in his 20s, died at the scene of the collision. The victim has not been identified due to pending family notification.

According to authorities, the motorist initially fled the scene, but later returned and was questioned.

Anyone who witnessed the collision is urged to call traffic investigators at 310-458-8954.
