According to the KTLA, three people were killed and four others were injured in a car accident in Lancaster on Thursday, January 11, 2018.
The fatal car accident was reported around noon at the intersection of Avenue J-8 and Challenger Way, when a silver sedan ran a red light and crashed into a blue sedan.
According to authorities, there were three people in the blue sedan at the time of the car accident and they were all pronounced dead at the scene. The victims in the blue sedan were a young husband and wife, both in their 20s, and a grandmother who was in her 60s. Their names have not been released.
Four men in the silver sedan sustained injuries. They were transported to a local hospital.
The fatal car accident remains under investigation. Drugs or alcohol were not suspected to be a factor in the car accident.
