According to the Daily Bulletin, one person is dead and another is in grave condition following a hit-and-run that took place in Rialto on Friday, September 22, 2017.
According to authorities, Desmond Ashley, 38, was jailed on suspicion of causing the hit-and-run.
Ashley was traveling east on Foothill Boulevard near Cedar Avenue when he struck two women around 8:30 p.m.
Both of the victims were taken to the hospital, where one was later pronounced dead and the other is reported to be in grave condition.
Police found the suspected hit-and-run driver’s vehicle at a nearby apartment complex and arrested the suspect at a motel in Fontana.
